Rural Housing Trust was invited by Horsham District Council to meet with a landowner who was interested in selling a site for affordable housing in the village of West Chiltington West Sussex.
The Council were supporting the Parish Council who were keen to enable the development of affordable housing for local people.
RHT agreed to promote the proposed development through the planning system and worked in partnership with Saxon Weald Housing Association to build 14 new homes.
The Parish Council visited the site towards the end of construction and the new homes were completed and occupied in 2020.
RHT has delivered 6 shared ownership homes for local first time buyers.
